Drawing #2- Mustache Man

This is a very happy little guy, inspired once again by Mr. Bucher. Media: sharpie, ball-point pen.
He just discovered true happiness and a chance to show off those pearly whites- not to mention the gnarly mustache!

Drawing #1- Curly Bird

I am hugely inspired by the amazing artist Stefan Bucher (dailymonster.com) and I decided to try and create "inky creatures" just like him. Unfortunately, as a humble and lowly college student, I don't have access to the materials he does, but I have armed myself with my trusty sharpie and black ball point pen. I intend on creating a few of these drawings every week (hopefully), drawing on ideas from both Mr. Bucher and my own imagination labyrinth. 

So without further ado, here is Drawing #1:

Backstory behind this pioneering drawing. If you've seen the movie "Up", then this bird-like creature may somehow (in a very strange way) resemble the beloved bird character Kevin, except he's wearing Converse shoes. I drew this based off of one of Stefan Bucher's Monsters, except I added a bit more of my style to it with curls, snazzy tail feathers and, obviously, the shoes.
